Woman sarpanch sacked for ‘transferring her powers’ to villager on Rs 500 stamp paper

Kailashi Bai Kachhawa, sarpanch of Daata panchayat in Neemuch district, has been removed from her post after allegedly transferring her responsibilities to Suresh Garasiya by signing a Rs 500 stamp paper agreement. Despite her denial, a probe confirmed the act. The agreement indicated Garasiya would handle all sarpanch duties, including key government schemes, till the end of her tenure.
