‘We were handcuffed’: Deportee who arrived in second batch from US

Daljit Singh, one of 116 deported Indian immigrants who arrived from the US, claimed they were handcuffed and chained during the journey. Singh, duped by a travel agent, was taken through an illegal ‘donkey route’ to enter the US. A third batch of 157 deportees is expected to land in Amritsar on Sunday.
