Odisha HC grants bail to thief with ‘sapling plants’ condition

An Orissa HC judge has granted bail to Manas Ati, charged with electric pole theft, on the condition that he plants 200 saplings of local varieties in his village. The district nursery and revenue authority will assist in providing saplings and identifying planting locations. Ati must maintain the trees for two years.
