Excess land payout? SIT to probe Noida Authority

The Supreme Court of India has set up a special investigation team (SIT) with senior IPS officers to probe the functioning of Noida Authority and potential over-compensation in land acquisitions. The SIT will determine whether there was collusion between Noida officials and landowners, and report within two months.
