1976 Sambhal riots: Case to be reopened after 46 years as UP govt orders fresh probe

The UP government has ordered a new investigation into the Sambhal riots of 1976, which resulted in the deaths of 184 people. The accused were acquitted in 2010 due to a lack of evidence. A report is to be submitted in a week by the police and administration.
