‘Stabbed him 70 times’: Grandson kills Hyderabad industrialist over property dispute

Hyderabad police arrested 29-year-old Kilaru Kirti Teja for the murder of his 86-year-old grandfather Velamati Chandrashekara Janardhan Rao, founder of Veljan Group of Industries. Teja allegedly stabbed Rao over 70 times during a property dispute, also injuring his mother. The murder weapon was recovered from Teja’s possession.
