Yashtika Acharya, a 17-year-old national powerlifting champion, died tragically in a gym accident in Bikaner. A 270 kg barbell slipped and fell on her neck during training, causing a fatal fracture. Despite prompt first aid, she was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
